Because guys dig literate chicks, tomorrow I will be joining some very hot chicks in turning off the computer and picking up a book. It is Day To Read 2009 sponsored by Soccer Mom in Denial. She urges us to

Last night I told my daughter I was worried about her obsession with video games. In our house we call it “square eyes”. It’s that bleary, puffy, purplish, sickly look the children get around their eyes when they’ve spent too much time staring at a television (or in my daughter’s case, a hand held) screen. We agreed that she needs to set some limits to her gaming time for her health’s sake.
So, in support of her new healthier habits, I’m going to unplug too and see if I can’t finish up the last part of this delicious book I started several months ago. For more more good reasons to unplug and turn a page, visit these hot boookin’ babes:

I love the list too. I know three of those awesome gals but Hotfessional is a new one for me and I can’t find where she talked about reading. Can you give me a clue? Pretty please?

Ok, so my book of choice will be probably two books - “Memoirs of Hecate County” by Edmund Wilson, and 50/50 by Dean Karnazes. Need some Dean to inspire me to continue my N Y Resolutions.
