Behold. The. Worst. Dishwasher. Evah.

First the top rack collapsed, taking most of my drinking glasses with it.

Then a hole appeared in my dishwasher door.

The only thing I can think of is that a metal utensil fell through the poorly made flatware basket, touched the heating coil at the bottom of the dishwasher with one end and touched the door of the dishwasher with the other end.

Honestly, I don’t know what caused the hole in my dishwasher. I just know we need a new one.

So! As I sit here with one dead dishwasher in the kitchen, and one shiny new dishwasher in the living room, waiting for the installation guy, all I can think about is the Norge Repairman.  Grab some Tang and egg salad and enjoy!

    Ah, the good ol’ days of SNL. I miss Gilda Radner.

    When my first dishwasher died, I couldn’t afford to replace it right away, so I used the dead body to hide my dirty dishes. I would do dishes in the sink when it was full.

    I miss those glory days of SNL too. And I really thought I had the worst dishwasher in the world.

    I’m with Debbie. I loved when the old SNLs were on Nick at Nite. RIP Gilda. That woman was a class act.

    I feel so sorry for you on the dishwasher. I hate when appliances turn to crap.

    This year we got a new dishwasher (German) and a new stove/oven (Bosch). Next up? Something to replace our crappy, crappy Fridge.
